The motivations of criminals have generally remained the same over the history of humanity and those motivations usually begin with greed. Only the targets change over time. In the case of the Dark Web, cyber criminals and valued data, the target has evolved from credit/debit cards to medical records to now PayPal and Uber records. One fact remains constant – we must remain diligent in the protection of personal data of all types.
