Ransomware Propagation Tied to TeamViewer Account

If true, this attack vector is a bit scary.  Take a moment to review any TeamViewer deployments in your environment and monitor for suspicious behavior.

A point of clarification, I am not claiming a breach of the TeamViewer infrastructure.  I am simply pointing out a pattern discussed in the Tripwire post.  I do fully recommend stronger authentication including multi-factor protocols for all desktop remote control approaches.
