This is a fascinating, and yet utterly disturbing article reviewing the hacking exploits of AnonSec against NASA. There is a great breakdown in this article of the toe-holds achieved and the pen testing process the attackers used to wind their way through NASA’s network. Ironically, like many attacks, a good portion of the access gained was due to poor policies and weak passwords.
