As someone who suffered through the original 6-hour pencil and ScanTron version of the exam, this evolution in the testing process is a welcome improvement for those tackling this certification for the first time.

Californian Voters Suffer Major Data Breach
You would think we would have learned our lesson by now concerning voter data given the fallout of accusations surrounding the 2016 election cycle. Yet, here we are reading about another significant data breach involving potentially every voter record in the California. I would discuss or at least mention the potential ramifications and reactions to such a breach, but I do not believe there will be any, at least not at a national press level. We have become numb and this is a sad fact.
